Ομόφωνα η έκθεση της επιτροπής για την ΜΠΕ του ΟΛΠ στο ΔΣ Πειραιά

Ομόφωνα ψηφίστηκε από το δημοτικό συμβούλιο Πειραιά η έκθεση της επιτροπής για την Μελέτη Περιβαλλοντικών Επιπτώσεων του ΟΛΠ. Θυμίζεται πως η επιτροπή συγκροτήθηκε μετά από πρόταση του Πειραιάς για Όλους και του Νίκου Μπελαβίλα και σε αυτή συμμετείχαν όλες οι παρατάξεις με εξαίρεση αυτή του ΚΚΕ το οποίο και καταψήφισε.


Το πόρισμα εντάσσεται στη δημόσια διαβούλευση ενώ το δημοτικό συμβούλιο αποφάσισε να συνταχθεί με τους παραλιμένιους δήμους (Κερατσίνι-Δραπετσώνα και Πέραμα) στα ζητήματα περιβαλλοντικού ελέγχου των λιμενικών έργων.
 

Όπως αναφέρεται και στο πόρισμα «η ΜΠΕ-ΟΛΠ χρήζει αναθεώρησης προκειμένου να μετασχηματιστεί σε Στρατηγική Μελέτη Περιβαλλοντικών Επιπτώσεων. Στο παρόν τεχνικό πόρισμα αναπτύσσονται τα κύρια προβλήματα και προτείνονται λύσεις. Ειδικότερα όπως σημειώνεται χρειάζονται συμπληρώσεις, διορθώσεις και επιπλέον αναλύσεις με στόχο την αντιμετώπιση σημαντικών προβλημάτων στα ζητήματα που αφορούν την κυκλοφορία οχημάτων, την αντιμετώπιση αέριων ρύπων, τη διάθεση των βυθοκορημάτων, την αντιπλημμυρική θωράκιση, την ηχορύπανση, τη διάνοιξη αστικών διεξόδων προς το θαλάσσιο μέτωπο και τη σύσταση μόνιμου Περιβαλλοντικού Παρατηρητηρίου».

«Ο ΟΛΠ πάντα προχωρούσε μόνος του, ανέκαθεν ο Δήμος Πειραιά σπάνια έπαιρνε την πρωτοβουλία να παρέμβει – κάποιες φορές και λόγω θεσμικού πλαισίου. Είναι πρώτη φορά που ο ΟΛΠ υποχρεούται να καταθέσει ολοκληρωμένη μελέτη και αυτή να κριθεί στα αρμόδια όργανα. Εχουμε το μεγαλύτερο τεχνικό έργο της χώρας σε εξέλιξη. Το λιμάνι από εδώ μέχρι τη Σαλαμίνα θα επηρεάσει και ως εργοτάξιο αλλά και ως λειτουργία τη ζωή της πόλης για γενιές» σημείωσε ο Νίκος Μπελαβίλας στο δημοτικό συμβούλιο.
